On Dream Island where the muse
rests silent
the parrot watches over her
waiting for dawn
and the coming of the poet
but the ferry sits unused upon the further shore

ooh! Another mention of the ferry. We really are going to have to call the names of those ferry women. Meanwhile, your parrot is drop dead gorgeous.

I cannot tell or describe to you how much I love this image. It’s both arresting and compelling. I thought it was a water colour - if it’s not please give me a clue as to how you created it.

This technique is really compelling. Will you share how you did it? And that ferry, back again, hmmm. . .I have a stick. I wonder if I can pole the ferry with some help?
