minus thought
drift on the edge
across the final bar
that fences the horizon
only the white flag
signals trust
I hoist the blank page
and hope

WOW indeed! a POWERFUl little poem - love the action verbs - so visual - “prizing” the words out - “hoisting the blank page” - and the dear fond term, “wordlings” - I’ve always said words are my little friends to play with - I’d like to call them wordlings, too! kerry
